Some things are too awkward to hang on a hook and too heavy to lift overhead twice a year. These Garage Gator kits use the same 220 lb motor as the rest of the line, with the attachment built for one specific load.

Jeep Roof Lift Kit

The kit most Jeep owners find after the first time they wrestle a hardtop off alone. Straps cradle a hardtop or a pair of Freedom Panels and take them to the ceiling, where they sit out of the way until the weather turns. It removes the two real risks of doing it by hand: dropping an expensive top, and doing it with your back.

Check your ceiling height against the top's depth, and confirm the raised load clears the garage door and opener through their full travel — that is the measurement people miss.

Golf Storage Lift

A 220 lb lift configured for golf bags and cart gear. Bags stay upright and off the floor between rounds, which is better for the clubs than leaning them in a corner and better for the garage than losing the space. Worth it if more than one person in the house plays.

Water & Snow Sport Lift Kit

Built for the seasonal pile: wakeboards, water skis, snowboards, sleds and the bag of gear that goes with them. Everything goes up together at the end of a season and comes down as one load at the start of the next, instead of migrating around the garage floor for six months.

Common questions

Is the motor different from the other Garage Gator lifts?

No — it is the same 220 lb motor used across the line. What changes is the attachment: straps, cradles or slings shaped for the load. That also means an existing lift can often be re-tasked with the right accessory kit rather than replaced.

Does the 220 lb rating include the attachment?

Yes. The rating is total lifted weight, attachment included. For straps and slings that overhead is small; for anything with a platform it matters. Each product page states what is included.

What do I need to check before installing?

Three things, in this order: ceiling height against the height of the load; that the raised load clears the garage door panels and opener rail through full travel; and that the ceiling framing above the mounting points can carry the rated load. A power outlet within reach is the fourth.

Can one lift do more than one job?

Often, yes. Swapping the attachment converts a lift between hooks, slings and platforms, so a household that stores boats in summer and bins in winter can run one lift year-round.
