FusionPlus is Proslat's welded-steel garage cabinet line, sold here as complete matched sets rather than individual boxes. Pick a wall length, pick a layout, pick your finish — the set arrives with base cabinets, worktop and hardware already sized to each other. Sets run from $5,989.99 for a 10-foot MAX run to $13,454.99 for a 16-foot TOOL run with overhead cabinets.

Which FusionPlus set fits your garage?

Three decisions get you to the right set: how much wall you have, whether you want enclosed storage or drawers, and whether you want overhead cabinets above the worktop.

1. Wall length — 10 ft, 13 ft or 16 ft

Measure the clear run of wall, not the room. A garage door track, an electrical panel, a hose bib or a light switch will all eat into usable length. A single-car bay wall typically takes the 10-foot set; a two-car bay usually takes 13 or 16 feet. If you are between sizes, go down — a set that does not fit cannot be trimmed on site.

2. MAX or TOOL layout

MAX weights the set toward enclosed cabinet storage — doors and shelves, better for bulky items, chemicals, and anything you want out of sight. TOOL weights the same footprint toward drawer capacity, which is what you want if the garage is where hand tools live. Construction, finish options and worktop options are identical between the two; only the box mix changes.

3. With or without overheads

Overhead cabinets add a bank of wall-mounted storage above the worktop. They add roughly $1,400–$2,400 to a set depending on length, and use vertical space that is otherwise wasted. Skip them if you have windows, a low ceiling, or slatwall you would rather keep exposed.

Finish choices

Every set is offered in three cabinet colours, two handle finishes and three worktop materials. All combinations are the same cabinet underneath.

• Colour: Black, Traffic Red or Traffic Gray.
• Handles: Silver reads as the traditional shop look and hides fingerprints; Black disappears into a black cabinet for a monolithic finish.
• Worktop: Powder-coated steel is the standard — hard-wearing and easiest to touch up. Stainless steel shrugs off solvents, brake fluid and anything else that marks paint. Maple wood is the pick if the garage doubles as a workshop; it is kinder to edged tools, but wants occasional oiling.

How FusionPlus is built

These are steel cabinets, not particleboard with a steel skin. Bodies are 18-gauge steel, zirconium-treated before powder coating so the finish bonds to the metal rather than sitting on it. Corners use quad-core construction with four-point welds — that is what keeps a loaded cabinet from racking out of square over the years. Drawers ride on commercial-grade Fulterer slides rated to 400 lb.

Common questions

Is FusionPlus the same as Proslat's older Fusion cabinets?

FusionPlus is the current generation and the one we stock. It carries the heavier 18-gauge body, the welded quad-core corners and the 400 lb Fulterer slides. Older Fusion pieces are not sold as matched sets here.

Can I mix colours or add a cabinet later?

Sets ship as a matched configuration, but individual FusionPlus pieces can be added afterwards in the same colour and handle finish. Email us the set you bought and what you want to add, and we will quote the pieces.

How do these ship?

Heavy LTL freight, curbside. Plan for a clear path from the street and a second person on delivery day. We confirm crate dimensions and weight before anything leaves the warehouse.

Do I need slatwall behind them?

No — FusionPlus cabinets stand on their own. Many owners run Proslat slatwall on the wall above or beside the cabinets so hand tools and yard gear hang within reach of the worktop.

What is the price difference between layouts?

TOOL runs roughly $500 more than MAX at the same length, because drawers cost more to build than doors. Adding overheads is the bigger jump. Worktop material also moves the price: maple and stainless sit above powder-coated steel.
