Collection: Solar Panels & Arrays

Power your off-grid adventures with premium solar panels and arrays. Engineered for residential backup, cabins, and heavy-duty RV solar setups, these high-efficiency systems deliver rugged, reliable power generation to support your van life or backup needs when you need it most.

  • Maximum Efficiency: Premium monocrystalline cells ensure higher wattage output.
  • Weatherproof Durability: Heavy-duty aluminum frames built to withstand the elements.
  • Seamless Integration: Optimized to work flawlessly with advanced MPPT solar charge controllers.

Choosing panels and building an array

Panel selection comes down to three practical constraints — how much roof or ground area you have, what voltage your system runs at, and whether the panels stay put or travel.

Area, not just wattage

Two panels of the same wattage can differ noticeably in physical size. When roof space is the limiting factor — an RV, a van, a small cabin — compare watts per square foot rather than watts alone, and lay out the actual dimensions against your usable area before ordering. Slim and flexible panels trade some efficiency for a lower profile and lighter weight, which is often the right trade on a curved or weight-sensitive roof.

Series or parallel

Wiring panels in series adds their voltages and keeps current low, which means thinner cable over a long run and better MPPT performance — but partial shade on one panel drags down the whole string. Wiring in parallel keeps voltage constant and adds current, so a shaded panel affects only itself, at the cost of heavier cable. Roofs with vents, aerials or overhanging branches usually do better in parallel or in smaller series strings.

Portable versus fixed

Briefcase and folding panels can be aimed at the sun through the day and packed away, which often yields more real energy than a larger fixed array lying flat. They suit camping, intermittent use, and parking in the shade while the panel sits in the sun. Fixed panels win on convenience and on cost per watt.

Check before you buy

Confirm the panel's open-circuit voltage stays within your charge controller's input limit — cold weather pushes it higher than the rated figure — and that the controller can handle the array's total current. Every product page lists wattage, voltage, dimensions and weight.
