Collection: Slatwall Trim & Finishing Pieces

Trim is what turns a slatwall installation from panels screwed to a wall into finished work. It caps the cut edges, hides the gap where two panels meet, and gives the bottom and top of the run a clean line. Sold here in 2, 3, 4 and 5 packs so you can buy to the length you actually need.

The four trim types, and where each one goes

• Starter trim — the first piece on the wall. It sets the bottom edge and gives the first panel something square to sit on. Get this level and the whole wall is level.
• H-trim — joins two panels end to end in a long horizontal run. Named for its cross-section: each panel slides into one side of the H. Use it wherever a run is longer than a single panel.
• Top trim — caps the top edge of the highest panel so you are not looking at an open groove.
• Side trim — finishes the vertical left and right edges of the run, and is what you want where slatwall stops partway along a wall rather than meeting a corner.
• L trim — the aluminium angle profile, used where an edge needs a harder, more finished corner than PVC gives.

How much trim do I need?

Work it out from the run, not the panel count. Starter and top trim are measured across the full width of the installation — one length each, top and bottom. Side trim is measured up the height of the run on each open end. H-trim is needed at every vertical seam between panels; count the seams, not the panels. Trim comes in 8 ft lengths, so divide your measurement by 8 and round up, then pick the pack size that covers it.

Match the finish, not just the type

Trim is made to match each panel line, and the colours are not interchangeable in appearance. PROCORE PVC trim suits the standard PROCORE panels; PROCORE+ Gray Wood trim matches the Gray Wood decorative panels; aluminium trim is its own look. Check which panel line is on your wall before ordering — the profiles may fit, but a Gray Wood edge against a white panel will be the first thing anyone notices.

Common questions

Can I install slatwall without trim?

Mechanically, yes — the panels hold and the hooks work. But the exposed groove at the top and the raw cut edges at the sides are what make an untrimmed wall look unfinished, and the bottom edge without starter trim is harder to get level. Most people who skip trim end up buying it later.

Can trim be cut to length?

Yes. PVC trim cuts cleanly with a fine-tooth blade; aluminium wants a metal-cutting blade. Cut slightly long and trim back rather than the other way round.

Which pack size should I order?

The packs are 2, 3, 4 and 5 lengths of 8 ft. Add up the linear feet you need per trim type, divide by 8, round up, and buy the pack that covers it — a spare length is cheaper than a second shipment.
