Proslat 8 ft. PROCORE+ Gray Wood PVC Top Trim

This is the top trim for Proslat PROCORE+ Gray Wood PVC slatwall. Each piece is 8 ft long and caps the top edge of the highest panel in the run, so the wall ends in a clean horizontal line instead of an open slat profile. It is sold here in 2 pack, 3 pack, 4 pack and 5 pack sizes.

Where this trim goes

Top trim runs horizontally along the very top of the installation, above the last panel you hang. It covers the exposed upper edge and gives the run a finished border where the panels meet bare drywall or the ceiling line.

The four PROCORE+ trims each do a different job:

• Starter trim goes at the bottom. It is the first piece on the wall and sets the level for every panel above it.
• H-trim covers a vertical seam where two panel sections meet side by side in the same run.
• Top trim — this piece — caps the top edge of the installation.
• Side trim finishes the open left and right ends of the wall.

How many do I need?

Every piece is 8 ft. For top trim, the measurement that matters is the full width of the installation — the horizontal distance from the left end of the panel run to the right end, in linear feet. Height does not come into it, and neither does the panel count.

Take that width, divide by 8, and round up to the next whole number. A 16 ft wall needs 2 pieces. A 20 ft wall needs 3, because 20 divided by 8 is 2.5 and you round up. If you are topping more than one wall, round each wall up on its own, then add the totals.

Common questions

Can I cut it to length?

Yes. This is PVC and it cuts cleanly with a fine-tooth blade. A miter saw or a fine-tooth hand saw both work. Cut slowly so the edge does not chip, and dry-fit the piece before you fasten it.

Does the finish have to match my panels?

Visually, yes. This is PROCORE+ Gray Wood trim and it is made to match PROCORE+ Gray Wood panels. It will not colour-match plain PROCORE PVC panels, so order the trim that belongs to the line you installed.

Can I add trim to a wall that is already up?

Yes. Top trim slides onto the top edge of the panel and you do not need to take the wall down. You may need to back off the screws in the top row so the trim can seat, then drive them back in.

Which pack size should I buy?

Buy the pack that covers your rounded-up piece count with the fewest leftovers. An 8 ft wide wall takes one piece, so a single bay is usually covered by the 2 pack.
